black and white photo of M2

This photo was a part of a project about architecture photography. I had to choose from 4 or 5 buildings in my city, Thessaloniki. I chose the M2 Building next to Opera House designed by Arata Isozaki. My initial plan was to visit the place 2-3 times in order to take my pictures. So the first time I went there the plan was mostly to scout the location . I had my camera with me of course so I could capture few frames and think about my actual images for the next time.

By the time I arrived a security guard told me that it wasn’t allowed to take pictures of the building from the outside area of the building. I was very dissapointed. So I decided to go around the area in case I found some interesting angle.

And few minutes I had my chanche to capture one of my favorite imagies. The light was perfect. I found my composition and then I waited for my moment. The ‘‘decisive moment’’ as Henri Cartier-Bresson used to say, and I had it when these to gentlemen appeared and had a talk wich helped my to make this image.
